Gratitude 19 – Christmas Eve

Yesterday, was so busy I didn’t do my list. We celebrated with my husband’s parents and then my mom came over and spent the night so she could be here Christmas morning. Writing this list was really nice because I got to stop and really appreciate every little thing I received, some of which I had already almost forgotten about but brought me great joy to remember.

  1. Lilian, Laurie, Jackie and Kate making a gratitude list and sending it to me today.
  2. almond milk soap
  3. a Caribou gift card
  4. a pink nail file on a circular soap lift
  5. fancy chocolates
  6. a glass refillable hand soap bottle
  7. 3 foaming handsoap tablet wrapped in paper- Iris Agave, Perrine Lemon, and Lavender Eucalyptus
  8. Seaweed and Sea Salt Body Butter
  9. soft and cozy beige and fuzzy white pajamas
  10. wrapping cristmas presents with my husband
  11. while my mom is at her zoom Christmas Eve church service in the kitchen
  12. hearing her sing, “Oh Come All Ye Faithful.”
  13. watching Noelle with my kids and my mom
  14. while my husband made pizza with sourdough crust for dinner
  15. coming home to find Lefse, Norwegian cake, and a beautiful card from a neighbor
  16. a card dropped off from a different neighbor and given to my husband
  17. while he was shoveling the snow
  18. a mom, who I taught when she was in third grade fifteen years ago and whose First grade son I teach now, that texted me and asked if she could bring a gift to my home
  19. another mom that sent me a message on WhatsApp wishing me a “Feliz Navidad”
  20. taking turns reading pages of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas like we do every Christmas Eve.
