I decided to keep my gratitude posts for yesterday and today private. I’ve been reading a lot about gratitude research and thinking about how this practice may be changing me. I have noticed a few things.
1. I am really happy most of the time.
2. I was exercising 4-5 days of the week in October and November and I realized I hadn’t missed a day of exercise in the past 8+ days.
3. I’ve lost two pounds. Let me be clear, I was not doing this practice to lose weight but when I started reading about the health benefits, I made that connection.
4. I received stressful news today and I took it in relatively really well. This relates to the research because it says gratitude builds resilience.
